Oh, my goodness!
I thought that the changeover for my beloved website would be without further complications, but upon further scrutiny I have come to discover that the "auction.cgi" did not quite translate and now I am left with an unsightly error message to taunt me into replicating how it once looked.
The only problem is I have not yet psyched myself up for the colossal headache I remember having when I was there the first time around AND that was for the very valid reason of taking real bids on my digital-kiss.
Hummmppfff and sigh. It will be attended to in due course.
So, what else?
I was looking at the Bibliography for DK.com (for a work-related cause) and I decided that I should revisit a couple of the books that were fascinating at every random and intrinsic juncture that I delved into them.
McLuhan, M (1997) Media Research Technology Art Communication Amsterdam, Overseas Publishing Association.
Turkle, S., (1995) Life on the Screen: Identity in the Age of the Internet, New York, Simon and Shuster.
The texts might also aide my bravery in actually opening-up the layers to the viewer so that one/you might be able to view from an internal perspective rather than that of an onlooker.
Ok. So now that we are in agreement, I shall choose which element will make for the most interesting introduction and publish forthwith...
